ATTRACT – 2

ATTRACT-2 (Antivascular Targeted Therapy: Researching ASA404 in Cancer Treatment-2) is a Phase III clinical trial which is being conducted at more than 180 sites in 20 countries. ATTRACT-2 is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center study of ASA404 in combination with docetaxel as second-line cancer treatment for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) of squamous or nonsquamous histology. The clinical trial will assign 900 NSCLC patients to one of the following cancer treatment arms in a 1:1 ratio: docetaxel plus ASA404 1800 mg/m2, or docetaxel plus placebo. Treatment is given for up to six 21-day cycles.
